01 / THE VISION

A world of opportunity.
More people with the
means to take part.

Self-determination.
Social mobility.
Shared possibility.

Woodtechie began with a belief: when knowledge, tools and opportunities are more widely accessible, individuals and organisations can build their own paths to success. Responsibly sourced wood can be one of the materials that makes this possible.

02 / CONNECTED POSSIBILITIES

Three ideas.
One growing vision.

Explore the connections at the heart of Woodtechie.

01 / RESPONSIBLE TIMBER

A renewable material.
A wider possibility.

We see enormous potential for responsibly grown timber in Africa: as a material for useful products, a foundation for enterprise, and a reason to invest in well-managed forests.

The ambition is a responsible cycle: grow thoughtfully, use wisely, create value, and reinvest in the future.

Grow.
Make.
Renew.

03 / AN AFRICAN POSSIBILITY

Rooted here.
Looking ahead.

What could grow if responsible timber use opened the way for more enterprise, more skills and more opportunity?

Our ambition is to help make that future possible. It begins with thoughtful decisions about how timber is sourced and used, and a belief in the people who can create value from it.

Responsibility matters at every step: the right trees in the right places, well-managed resources, and value that reaches people.

04 / THE PERSON BEHIND THE IDEA

An idea worth
growing.

I’m Schalk Grobbelaar and we founded Woodtechie Innovations to explore how sustainably sourced wood could help people and organisations succeed.

The business has taken different turns along the way. The founding belief remains: when more people have the means to act on their ideas, more becomes possible.

Today, that journey continues through consulting and the development of useful solutions to real problems.
